Our programs are designed for everyone, from individuals seeking tranquility to organizations aiming to promote well-being in their communities.
Your Journey to Well-Being Starts Here

Our Story
Hi, I'm Hannah. I set up Field of Mind to share my passion of the outdoors with as many people as possible. For me, the outdoors is a refuge, a safe space capable of helping me with all my problems - and it always has been. There are infinite ways to engage with the outdoors, which means there are infinite benefits that can be pulled away from it. Whether you are looking for a source of excitement and adventure, a moment of peace and tranquility, or anything in between, the outdoors can facilitate it all.
Here at Field of Mind, we are trying to bridge the gap between what you want, and what the outdoors can offer. Get in contact with us to find out how we can use the outdoors to help your well-being today!

Our Commitment
At Field of Mind, we are dedicated to bridging the gap between traditional mental health services and the therapeutic benefits of nature. By offering structured outdoor programs, we aim to complement existing services and provide holistic support to individuals seeking mental well-being.
Field of Mind is based in The Lake District, UK. We are privileged to operate in one of the UK's most breathtaking and inspiring landscapes. Our location allows us to make full use of a variety of different outdoor activities, whether it's a mindful walk along a woodland trail in Ennerdale or Grizedale, creative sessions overlooking Windermere or Ullswater, or mindfulness practices up in the hills, The Lake District provides the perfect backdrop for reconnecting with yourself and the natural world.

"The team led myself and a couple of others on a walk down the beach at sunset. They taught us about the geography of the landscape, pointed out everything we could hear including a rare species of toad, and lead us on a few mindfulness exercises. The team, paired with the location and program helped me to feel calm and I left with a much clearer mind. It was simple, peaceful, and made a big difference to my mental health as I came away with lifelong skills. I left feeling more content and grounded than I have felt in a long time."
Millie Reid
"I participated in a one-on-one session where we undertook a canoe journey and cooked a meal at the side of the lake. The team worked with me in advance to plan the journey, taking a lot of inspiration from the book "Swallows and Amazons", one of my favorite reads as a child. Not only did I improve my outdoor skills and confidence engaging in outdoor activities, we discussed my intrinsic and extrinsic motivations, giving me insight into how to help myself understand what makes me feel like me. The cooking at the end was a nice touch with a guided reflection session on the day to think about what were the biggest take aways for myself."
Janice Smith
"I booked a resilience building day with a group of friends. It was the perfect way for us all to build on our personal confidence, but also on our joint teamwork and collaboration. At the end of the day, we all had deeper insights into what scared and excited each other, and how as a group we could help each other overcome their fears. The team chose out activities that would push us as a group, and we came away feeling a lot more connected and understanding of each other. I would definitely recommend the team at Field of Mind."
